Can Israel Turn Victory Into Lasting Power? | Gregg Roman Moderates JNS Panel

Description

At the 2026 JNS International Policy Summit in Jerusalem, Middle East Forum Executive Director Gregg Roman chairs “Challenges in the International Arena,” a forum co-chaired by Fiamma Nirenstein.

The forum brings together Malcolm Hoenlein, Ambassador Mark Regev, Josh Katzen, Shimon Cohen, Simon Tobelem, Chaim Silberstein, Bryan Leib, and Robert Rechnitz to examine how Israel can translate battlefield gains into lasting diplomatic, economic, and strategic power.

The discussion explores the emerging “Pax Israeliana” doctrine, deterrence and hard power, economic integration, strategic communications, Jewish unity, and the struggle against antisemitism and international delegitimization. Panelists consider whether hostile institutions should be reformed, bypassed, or confronted, and what it will take for Israel to move from surviving to winning.
