"What is Happening to the American Right" with Dominic Green

Description

In this week’s Middle East Forum podcast, Lauri Regan hosts Dominic Green for a deep dive into the ideological battles fracturing the conservative movement. Green examines the rise of online extremism, Tucker Carlson’s new influence ecosystem, the Nick Fuentes controversy, and the growing struggle for control of institutions like the Heritage Foundation.

Green tracks the historical roots of this fight, from Buckley’s purge of the “cranks and freaks” to MAGA’s transformation from a charismatic movement into an institutional power center. He explains how succession politics surrounding JD Vance, the spread of isolationism, and the role of foreign influence networks are reshaping the future of the GOP.
