Daniel Pipes has led the Forum since 1994. With an A.B. and Ph.D. from Harvard, he has taught at Chicago, Harvard, Pepperdine, and the U.S. Naval War College; currently he is an affiliate professor at the University of Haifa. He served in five U.S. administrations, received two presidential appointments, and testified before many congressional committees. He is the author of sixteen books on the Middle East, Islam, and other topics. Mr. Pipes writes a column for the Washington Times and his work has been translated into 37 languages.
