Oct. 7th was a turning point for Israel's status in the Middle East, starting a multi-front confrontation between the U.S. bloc, including Israel, and the Iranian bloc. As tensions increase in the Red Sea, on all of Israel’s borders, in Syria and Iraq, and even with Pakistan, what are the implications of these dramatic events? How adequately is the West responding? Zvi Hauser is an Israeli entrepreneur and national security specialist. He has been deputy speaker of the Knesset, chairman of the Knesset’s Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, and the cabinet secretary. He holds a BA from Tel Aviv University. Hauser has authored a number of research papers for the Middle East Forum.
