Western Islamists Turn Right with Sam Westrop and Benjamin Baird

Description

As a growing number of figures on the Right, from mainstream GOP officials to internet "influencers" such as Andrew Tate, align with Islamist activists, American Muslims display unhappiness with their self-appointed leaders' embrace of progressive politics. Why is this re-alignment of Islamists with the Right happening? What does this shift mean for the future of Islam in the West?

Sam Westrop, director of MEF’s Islamist Watch project, and Benjamin Baird, head of its Islamism in Politics project, will discuss the changing politics and evolving dangers of American Islamism.
