North Korea and the Middle East with Bruce Bechtol

Description

North Korean weapons recently turned up in the hands of Hamas operatives battling Israel in Gaza. This was the latest evidence of the destabilizing role that Pyongyang has long played in the Middle East. Who else does North Korea arm in the region? How much of a threat does it pose? How should the United States respond?

A retired U.S. Marine, he served at the Defense Intelligence Agency in 1997-2003, eventually becoming the senior analyst for Northeast Asia in the Intelligence Directorate (J2) on the Joint Staff in the Pentagon.
