Evangelicals and Israel: On the Brink or Back Together? with Luke Moon
Watch on YouTube
Description
In 2014, the Middle East Forum considered evidence of waning Evangelical support for Israel. At the time, several prominent Evangelical leaders and institutions appeared to be driving a wedge between Israel and the Evangelical community in the name of solidarity with Palestinian Christians. Where are we today, six years later? Does the dreaded split seem all the more likely, or have superseding events, such as the presidency of Donald Trump and the primary role Israel has played in his rallying the Evangelical base, helped avert a potential crisis that seem very possible several years ago? If Evangelical-Israeli relations are still less than robust, what should be done to ensure their continued durability?
